The funds would be collected in and disbursed from our Mobilization for Mission account.
The candidate has no other means of achieving interest deferment during his/her period of service.
The interest payments are in the form of grants, not loans.
The candidate is a member of Mennonite Medical Association.
The candidate is professionally qualified to fill the service position.
The candidate has been accepted for service by the sponsoring agency.
The candidate is active in and recommended by the local Christian congregation or fellowship of which she/ he is a part.
The MMA financial commitment is renewable for the 2‑5 years of the
volunteer's commitment. i.e. we would not withdraw "midstream".
If Mobilization for Mission funds permits, we would consider more than
one candidate at a time. Until that time, the grant would be offered to
one individual on a competitive basis.
